Membership Hold
THIS IS NOT A TERMINATION REQUEST
As stated in your BOLT Fitness membership agreement, you have the option to put your automatically recurring monthly membership on hold for vacations or illnesses, or injuries.
Membership hold requests must be submitted no less than three (3) business day before your forthcoming scheduled renewal date. Membership hold requests received later cannot be processed until after the forthcoming scheduled renewal payment. All membership payments are non-refundable.
Duration: Members can request a hold on their memberships for a period ranging from 14 days (2 weeks) to 84 days (12 weeks).
Frequency: Each member is allowed to place their membership on hold up to two times within a calendar year. However, the combined duration of these holds should not exceed 84 days (12 weeks) in that year.
Procedure: To initiate a membership hold, members must specify both the start and end dates of the hold period.
Billing During Hold: Once a hold is in place, all billing and scheduling activities related to the membership will be paused for the duration of the hold.
Billing After Hold: When the hold period ends, the billing cycle will resume. The next billing date will be adjusted based on the number of days the membership was on hold.
Example: If your billing date is January 1st and you place a 4-week hold starting January 8th, only one week of your billing period will have been used before the hold. This means you still have three weeks left in your billing cycle. After your hold ends on February 5th, your billing cycle will continue for the remaining three weeks. Thus, your next billing date will be February 26th.
*Membership hold requests are limited to three (3) times per calendar year for 7,14, 28-day increments for up to a total of 84 days maximum. Upon expiration of the hold period that you select below, your account will automatically reactivate and regular membership payments will resume. If you choose to cancel your membership during the hold period, the standard 30-day written cancellation notice requirement stated in your membership agreement is applicable. If you choose to reactivate your membership after it is cancelled, membership rates in effect at the time of reactivation will be applicable (membership rates are subject to change).
